Three Clean-Energy Firms Open Singapore Offices

Three foreign clean-energy companies are among a growing number of international firms that are capitalising on Singapore’s renewable energy technology, capital resources and talent, as the Republic moves towards being Asia’s sustainable energy hub.

Hanergy Global Investments and Sales, Saferay, and Demansys Energy LLC announced the opening of their Singapore offices on October 31 as part of the 2013 Singapore International Energy Week and the PV Asia Pacific Conference.

In recent months, Singapore has attracted clean-energy investments from other global companies, including Japan’s NEC, which set up a smart energy business incubation centre in Singapore to develop new markets in Asia, as well as a corporate research lab.
